Lodgepole Pine Premium Christmas Trees
£45.00 – £55.00
All our trees are locally sourced and grown so we can continue to support local and remain true to our sustainable ethos.
Shape: Lodgepole pines typically have a narrow, upright, and cylindrical shape, which makes them somewhat more slender compared to other Christmas tree varieties. Their branches tend to grow in whorls (circular patterns) around the tree’s trunk, giving them a distinct appearance.
Needles: The needles are long, slender, and typically grow in clusters of two. They are dark green to blue-green in color, and have a soft texture, although they can be slightly prickly to the touch. The needles are aromatic when crushed, emitting a pine-like scent.
Needle Retention: Lodgepole pines generally do not have the same level of needle retention as fir trees (such as the Fraser fir or Nordmann fir), meaning they may shed their needles more quickly when cut. However, with proper care (like keeping the tree well-watered and in a cool, humid environment), lodgepole pines can still last for several weeks after being cut.
